  53.                 Installation
  54.  
  55.     To install the disk, create an appropriate subdirectory
  56.     like C:\JORF, copy all files to that subdirectory, and
  57.         unpack the files that are appropriate.  For the DOS version,
  58.     unpack JORFDOS.ZIP and JORF.ZIP.  For the Windows version,
  59.         unpack JORFWIN.ZIP and JORF.ZIP.

  61.     Create a JORF subdirectory:      MD \JORF
  62.     Change directories to there:     CD \JORF
  63.     Copy files to that directory:    COPY A:*.*
  64.     Either unpack DOS version:       PKUNZIP  JORFDOS
  65.      and/or Windows interpreter:     PKUNZIP  JORFWIN
  66.     Always unpack sample files:      PKUNZIP  JORF

  70.     To add the appropriate icons, start up Windows and select
  71.         File New.  Enter the following entries on the Program Item
  72.     Properties screen.

  96.     To run the DOS version, all you have to do is type JORF
  97.         followed by the program name.

  105.                Getting Started with JORF
  106.  
  107.     The best way to get started is to run the JORF Tutorial.
  108.         From the DOS command line, type JORF TUTORIAL.  From
  109.     Windows, select the educated goat icon.
  110.  
  111.     The Tutorial is a hypertext application that features self
  112.     writing programs.  Press 'Q' to run the Quick Demo that
  113.         writes the program code for a new window as you watch.
  114.  
  115.     Be sure to hit Ctrl-Break to see the Program Editor and
  116.     Debugger.  While in the editor, arrow to any key word
  117.         and hit F1 to read the help entry for that word.

  119.                   Getting Out
  120.  
  121.     To exit the current window at any time press Ctrl-F4 or
  122.         Escape.  To end the current program press Alt-F4 or Alt-X.

  124.                 Sample Programs

  126.     If you just type JORF, or if you click the JORF icon, you
  127.     will be started in the JORF Editor and Debugger.  Select
  128.         File, Open to see a list of programs.
